In the space provided below, write an essay from three to five paragraphs in length responding to one of the following prompts:

The postman rings your doorbell and delivers a large box wrapped in brightly colored paper. To whom is the box addressed? Who sent it? What is in the box?
Write about a time you worked hard for something. For example, you may have worked hard to earn a reward in class, win a game or make money for something. Tell what you did and how you felt.
