Attract and Develop Outstanding Educational Leaders & Mentors

Inspiring and accomplished teachers and coaches become trusted mentors, helping boys discover who they are and who they can become.

At University School, great teaching is defined by both expertise and care. Our faculty are not only accomplished in their fields—they are mentors who are invested in each boy's interests and abilities, as well as his emotional health and academic performance. Our teachers and coaches model the balance of intellect, empathy, and character we strive to instill in our students.

Campaign funds will enhance the resources available to recruit and retain world-class educators, offer robust professional development opportunities, and support their growth throughout their careers. By investing in our teachers and coaches, we invest in every boy—ensuring that each student continues to benefit from the transformative relationships that define the US experience.

Priority Goal: $52 million

“University School empowers me to bring the magic and diversity of languages to life for my students through creativity, high expectations, and technology-centered teaching tools. The school’s support for classroom innovation, including a grant that allowed me to study French in Bordeaux this past summer, reflects its deep commitment to lifelong learning. The investment US provides not only enriches my teaching but also expands how I can serve our students as a multilingual educator.”
