About the Campaign

From the Campaign Chair

Dear US Community,

When I was a student at University School, I remember the excitement of the Hunting Valley Campus taking shape. It was an incredible sign of the community’s belief in what the future of our school would be. It was an investment that enriched my own experience—I spent two wonderful years on that campus—and it has benefited generations of boys since.

My time at US was influenced by much more than the new and modern spaces where I learned and competed. My education here developed my character, my curiosity, and my sense of purpose. Like thousands before and after me, I was known, challenged, and inspired by teachers and coaches who expected my best. That same spirit endures today. From Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12, US boys are guided to discover their strengths, embrace responsibility, and lead with empathy and integrity.

As we look to the future, we are called to build on that foundation with renewed purpose—launching Lead & Serve: The Campaign for University School, a mission to strengthen what has always made US extraordinary while preparing it for the generations ahead. This campaign will invest in the heart of the US experience—outstanding teachers, coaches, and mentors, greater access and opportunity for boys in our region, integrated character and leadership development, and inspiring spaces for learning and play.

As an alumnus, I know firsthand the lifelong impact of a US education. I invite you to join me in shaping the next chapter of this extraordinary school’s story. Together, we will nurture a school that transforms lives—and, through those lives, the world.

With gratitude,
